Big news yesterday from Wall Street as BlackRock Inc. of New York and FTSE Group of London announced the creation of a fund that excludes fossil fuel companies. This is significant for divestment movements around the world as these are the first major global investment houses to acknowledge both the moral and financial viability of fossil-free indexed funds.
This is a fund the Pingree Board should study seriously.
